Although not a hidden gem anymore, Armação still has the Portuguese touch, with the majority of guests being Portuguese, and only a reasonable share of international holidayers. That said you will experience a very local flair based on tradition and coastal lifestyle.

We love this place since our childhood in the 70ies, and are happy to share our holiday home with our guests from around the world. The apartment is located in the old part of the village, facing the traditional market which is open every Saturday. If you like genuine local and fresh food, this market is the place to get all your stuff for great meals, from vegetables to fish, seafood and meat.

It is only a five minutes walk to the beach crossing the market and with loads of cafes and pastry shops along the way. Restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, hairdresser, laundry – everything on your doorstep and easily accessible without car.

Our apartment is the ideal place to stay, and provides all the amenities you need for a perfect holiday. A fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook for the entire family. Enjoy your home cooked meal on the balcony, or just sit there with a cup of local coffee or a glass of good Portuguese wine, overlooking the town, or watching the lights of the fishermens’ boats far out on the sea in the evening. In case you need to stay connected to the world, we provide complementary high speed internet and satellite TV with local and international programs. For your car, there is a complementary parking in the basement of the building, easily accessible by elevator.

Please be aware that this is a non-smoking apartment, and pets are not allowed.

As we are not living on site, check in and out as well as cleaning and maintenance is managed by our local agency.
